Pain and injuries we treat
We treat a range of pain conditions, whether it’s an acute injury, long-term pain or recovery after surgery.
Neck pain
A stiff, aching neck after long hours at a desk, sometimes with headaches. We ease the neck, then build shoulder strength.
Lower back pain
Back pain that sits low down, sometimes with pain into the leg. We treat the sore area and work on how your back and hips move.
Shoulder pain
Pain lifting your arm, or a shoulder that has gone stiff. We work on movement first, then strength.
Knee pain
Pain on stairs, when you squat or when you run. We check the hip and ankle too, then strengthen the muscles around the knee.
Hip pain
Pain in the hip or groin when you walk, sit or train. We treat the joint and the muscles that control it.
Ankle and foot pain
Sprains, heel pain and ankles that keep giving way. We get the movement back, then retrain your balance.
Elbow pain
Pain on the outside or inside of the elbow when you grip, lift or play racket sports. We settle the sore tendon, then load it a little at a time.
Wrist and hand pain
Wrist pain from typing or lifting your baby, or numb, tingling fingers at night. We calm the sore area, then rebuild strength in your wrist and hand.
Sports injuries
Injuries from running, racket sports and the gym. We treat the injury and get you ready to go back to your sport.
What happens in your first physiotherapy session
Every session is 45 to 60 minutes and strictly one-to-one, with the same physiotherapist each time. Your first visit follows these four steps.

Assessment
You tell us what hurts and what makes it worse. Then we watch how you move and test the strength around the painful area.

Hands-on treatment
Your physiotherapist uses hands-on treatment to ease the pain in the area. Which method suits you is decided after your assessment.

Exercise therapy
You start exercises in the same session to build strength where you need it. Your physiotherapist watches your form and corrects it.

Your plan
Before you leave, we explain what we found and agree the next sessions with you. You also leave knowing what to do at home between visits.
The manual therapy we use
Your physiotherapist picks what suits the problem after the assessment.
Where your sessions happen

Private treatment rooms
Every session happens behind a closed door to protect your privacy.

Exercise and rehab area
Gym equipment for the exercise part of your session, so you practice the movement properly before you take it home.

Washroom and bathroom
Part of every session is exercise, so you can shower and change before you head back to work.
What our clients say...
I had been suffering from neck shoulder and back pain for long time and notmally just goto chiro or acupuncture whenever getting worse. I went to ONI after seeing the google reviews on this centre provides not only physiotherapy but also some coaching on exercises needed. Then June was the one attended to me, with detail assessment and explanation on my body condition patiently. I signed up course after 1st trial which include the physio and exercise. That night I slept soundly and woke up fresh in the next morning. I continued and found is useful to maintain good body condition through the program. Highly recommended to try for those having the similar symptoms.
My first visit is pleasant. Physiotherapist is Jamie and she is patient, thorough and knowledgeable. She helped me with my shoulder injury result from tennis and pickleball. After diagnosis, she introduced a few type of exercise to strengthen my back muscle to prevent future injuries. She also whatsapp me all the Youtube links for me to refer and also did a follow up few days later. The premise is clean, spacious and professional.I highly recommend ONI and Jamie.

June was my therapist and was superb really helpful and knew exactly where to focus the treatment for my injury. They have a great deals on packages so buy them for the best value. I had a great experience with Eva after a recent pickleball injury. Her treatment plan significantly reduced my discomfort after the first visit. I’m happy to be returning for continued progress and would recommend Eva and this clinic to anyone looking for quality care
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Bryan at Oni Fitness is a True legend. I’ve been struggling with pain in my knee for months and seen so many physios, but none of them could fix it... After months of suffering, my pain was gone after seeing him. He is professional, highly skilled, and truly cares about his clients. If you want a solution instead of just a treatment, Bryan is your man!
The practice was very clean and the equipment was in good condition. I visited the therapist Joshua 13 times in total and always felt comfortable. We were able to gradually increase the intensity of the exercises and by the end of my time there, I saw a significant improvement.
I came to ONI for frozen shoulder. Eva did an extraordinary job to solve my issue in 2-3 months . Quite short for frozen shoulder. Then I also used her services for back pain with same extraordinary experience in solving the problem. I can only recommend Eva to anyone.
Therapist Eva was knowledgeable and assisted with managing my knee injury which occured post run. Did a 3D body scan as well to further understand my current body posture and its effects long term. Very pleased with the service and help rendered! Highly recommended.
Long overdue but had a good first experience here for my right knee. Had a few sessions with Malcolm to deal with my knee pain. Very efficient to solve my problem. Overall the environment is good and all their trainers are professional and friendly.
This was my first experience with physical therapy. I had a torn ligament in my knee, so I came here for an inquiry and diagnosis. The physical therapist who assisted me in the diagnosis was Bryan. He was very professional and quickly identified the source of my knee pain. Through acupuncture, my knees no longer hurt. He explained clearly what had happened to my knee and advised me on what I should and shouldn't do. I sincerely appreciate Bryan's expertise and the effective treatment. Thank you!
I went to Malcolm after recommended by a friend. Malcolm is very knowledgeable and detailed in terms of diagnosis on the discomfort felt near my knee. He did some muscles relief massage and stretching alongside with few legs exercises he recommended for me to do on my own to speed up my recovery from ITB syndrome. After two weeks, now I am back to playing sports again. In summary, professional, great ambience & reasonable price.

Common questions about our physiotherapy
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem and how long you’ve had it. After your assessment, your physiotherapist will explain what they found and suggest a plan for your next sessions.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. You can book with us directly, and your physiotherapist will assess you on your first visit.
Can I claim physiotherapy on insurance?
It depends on your insurer. With Great Eastern, we help with a direct claim, subject to eligibility. With other insurers, you pay first and we give you a physiotherapy report and receipt so you can claim. We don’t accept Guarantee Letters.
How long is a physiotherapy session?
A session is around 45 to 60 minutes.
Does physiotherapy hurt?
Mostly, no. Some hands-on methods can feel uncomfortable on tight or injured tissue, but your physiotherapist keeps it at a level you can manage.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear loose clothes you can move in, such as a T-shirt and shorts. Bring any X-ray, MRI or ultrasound reports you have. If you don’t have any, that’s fine.
What language does your team speak?
Our team speaks English, Malay and Mandarin, and some of us also speak Hokkien, Hakka and Cantonese. If you’d prefer a language other than English, mention it in your WhatsApp message when you book.
