Postural Correction

Postural correction focuses on improving how your body is aligned during daily activities such as sitting, standing, and moving.

Physiotherapy helps by identifying imbalances, weaknesses, and poor movement habits, then correcting them through targeted exercises and guided rehabilitation for long-term results.

We commonly treat posture-related issues such as:

  • Forward head posture
  • Rounded shoulders
  • Hunchback
  • Slouched sitting posture
  • Anterior pelvic tilt (lower back over-arching)

These imbalances can affect both how you feel and how your body performs.

Yes, poor posture can place continuous strain on your muscles and joints.

Over time, this may lead to neck pain, shoulder tightness, and lower back discomfort, especially if you spend long hours sitting or using devices.

We use a 3D Postural Scan to assess both your static and dynamic posture.

This allows us to accurately identify muscle imbalances, weaknesses, and movement patterns, so we can create a highly targeted correction plan for you.

Our approach focuses primarily on exercise-based rehabilitation.

You will be guided through targeted exercises to:

  • Strengthen weak muscles
  • Improve movement control
  • Correct faulty posture habits

This ensures long-term improvement rather than temporary fixes.
