HERE'S HOW WE CAN HELP...

So your pain/injury won't come back again and again

Pickleball symptoms relief

Still Struggling with Pickleball Pain?

Tried muscle relaxant creams, patches, massages, braces, or ice packs?

These may give temporary relief, but the pain always comes back — especially once you’re back on court.

Why?

Because those methods only treat the symptoms, not the source of the problem.

How We’re Different at ONI Physio Fitness

We don’t just ease your pain.

We find and fix the root cause — so you can play pain-free for the long run.

Pickleball root cause

What Do We Mean by “Root Cause”?

Pickleball injuries often stem from poor technique or body mechanics.

Without correcting how you move, pain will keep coming back — even if it goes away for a while.

👉 For example:
Let’s talk about tennis elbow — a common pickleball injury.
If you swing using just your arm (instead of your whole body), your elbow takes on too much pressure with every shot.

Even if the pain goes away now, it’s bound to return.

💡 At ONI, we go beyond rehab:

  • We teach you proper swing mechanics — using body rotation, not just your arm

  • We build your core and rotational strength

  • We make sure you return to court with better form, less strain, and more power

ONI's approach in treating pickleball case

Long-Lasting Results,
Not Quick Fixes

Quick fixes like patches, massages, or braces only offer temporary relief.

At ONI, we go deeper — correcting how your body moves and building the strength to support it.

That means:

  • Less strain when you play

  • Fewer flare-ups

  • And no more pain that keeps coming back

We don’t just get you back on court — we keep you there, pain-free.

WHAT DOES OUR FIRST PHYSIOTHERAPY SESSION LOOK LIKE?

Neck assessment

Our physiotherapists will conduct a thorough assessment to determine the root cause of your pain or discomfort, such as poor movement mechanics, muscle imbalances, compensation patterns, and more.

The assessment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Range of motion
  • Strength testing
  • Motor skill assessment
  • Movement analysis

***We encourage you to bring a video of you playing pickleball, so our physios can analyze your movement!

After the assessment, our physiotherapists will apply the necessary manual treatment methods to:

  • Reduce pain
  • Release muscle tension
  • Improve joint mobility
  • Manage swelling
  • Promote tissue healing

Depending on your condition, treatment may include:

  • Myofascial release (MFR)
  • Localized heat/cold therapy
  • Cupping
  • IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)
  • Dry needling
  • Joint mobilization

FAQ

A physiotherapy session will take around 45 minutes to one hour.

We are not affiliated with any insurance panels. However, we can issue a receipt and provide a letter (if necessary) for insurance claims. Please consult your insurance agent for the materials needed for your claim.

In the first session, our physiotherapists will assess your condition to identify the root cause of your problem.

They will then apply manual treatments for pain management.

Depending on your condition, we may also include rehab exercises to strengthen and/or stretch the affected areas.

Consultation is also part of the first session.

Yes! Our treatment goes beyond relieving pain; we also focus on strengthening the affected area. When the weakened part becomes stronger, it helps prevent future injuries.

No, physiotherapy and massage are not the same. While massage may be part of physiotherapy, they serve different purposes.

Physiotherapy involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various conditions and injuries using a range of methods, such as manual release, exercise therapy, and other modalities.

In contrast, massage primarily promotes relaxation and relieves muscle tension but does not address medical conditions or injuries.

Therefore, physiotherapy is a better option for comprehensive pain and injury treatment.

At ONI Physio Fitness, we make sure to really understand your condition, your lifestyle, and what you’re aiming for.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we create a treatment plan just for you and adjust it as you progress. That way, you’re always getting the care you need, when you need it.

We also focus on showing you exercises and techniques that you can use in your everyday life, so you’re not just improving in the center—you’re making lasting changes. We’ll work closely with you to find a plan that actually helps you feel better and stay better long-term.
