"I'VE TRIED MANY THERAPIES BUT THEY DIDN'T WORK"
WHAT MAKES ONI PHYSIO FITNESS DIFFERENT IN WRIST & HAND PHYSIOTHERAPY?
And it’s not doing more of what you’ve already tried...

Why the Old Way Doesn’t Work for Wrist & Hand Pain
If you’ve been struggling with wrist or hand pain, chances are you’ve tried the “quick fixes”:
Painkillers or anti-inflammatory gels
Applying ice pack
Wearing wrist guards or splints for weeks
Resting and avoiding activities
And yes, these may help for a short while. But as soon as you get back to work, type on your laptop, lift weights, or carry groceries — the pain comes back.
Maybe your grip feels weak when holding a racket.
Maybe your wrist aches after long hours of typing.
Maybe your fingers lock up or swell when you try to do simple tasks.
That’s because these fixes only calm the symptoms. They don’t address the real reason your wrist or hand keeps hurting.
Many people also believe that wrist and hand pain is “just from aging” or “something you have to live with after an injury.” But the truth is: wrist and hand pain is rarely just about age or wear and tear.

The Real Reason Behind Wrist & Hand Pain
Here’s the truth: your wrist or hand is rarely the only problem.
Think of your arm as a system — your shoulder, elbow, forearm, wrist, and fingers all connected. If one part is weak or stiff, another part has to take on more stress than it should.
Weak forearm or shoulder muscles can overload your wrist and hand during daily tasks.
Poor posture when typing or using your phone shifts unnecessary pressure onto your wrists.
Old injuries or repetitive strain change the way you move, forcing your hands and wrists to “pick up the slack.”
Unless these root causes are addressed, the pain will keep coming back. Relying only on rest or braces is like patching a leaking pipe without fixing the hole.

ONI’s Approach: Long-Term Relief, Not Quick Fixes
At ONI Physio Fitness, we don’t just give you a wrist guard and send you home. We go deeper.
Comprehensive Assessment – We don’t just look at your wrist; we check your whole upper limb movement. How do you grip, type, lift, or push? Where is your body compensating?
Root-Cause Focus – If your shoulder is weak, we strengthen it. If your posture is off, we retrain it. If your grip is unstable, we build it back stronger.
Active Rehab, Not Just Passive Relief – Instead of relying only on massage or machines, we combine hands-on physiotherapy with guided exercises that restore mobility, strength, and stability.
Return-to-Activity Programming – Whether it’s playing badminton, lifting weights, or typing for hours at work, we prepare your wrist and hand to handle the specific demands of your lifestyle.
Imagine This
👉 Typing on your laptop for hours without numbness or tingling.
👉 Lifting your child, groceries, or gym weights without wrist pain.
👉 Playing your favorite sport again with a strong grip and no fear of re-injury.
That’s the difference when we stop chasing symptoms and fix the root cause.
At ONI Physio Fitness, it’s not just about a pain-free wrist and hand.
It’s about giving you back the freedom to work, play, and live with confidence again.

FAQ
A physiotherapy session will take around 45 minutes to one hour.
We are not affiliated with any insurance panels. However, we can issue a receipt and provide a letter (if necessary) for insurance claims. Please consult your insurance agent for the materials needed for your claim.
Doctor’s referral is not necessary. Our physiotherapists will assess your condition and recommend the most suitable treatment and rehabilitation plan for you.
In the first session, our physiotherapists will assess your condition to identify the root cause of your problem.
They will then apply manual treatments for pain management.
Depending on your condition, we may also include rehab exercises to strengthen and/or stretch the affected areas.
Consultation is also part of the first session.
Yes! Our treatment goes beyond relieving pain; we also focus on strengthening the affected area. When the weakened part becomes stronger, it helps prevent future injuries.
No, physiotherapy and massage are not the same. While massage may be part of physiotherapy, they serve different purposes.
Physiotherapy involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various conditions and injuries using a range of methods, such as manual release, exercise therapy, and other modalities.
In contrast, massage primarily promotes relaxation and relieves muscle tension but does not address medical conditions or injuries.
Therefore, physiotherapy is a better option for comprehensive pain and injury treatment.
At ONI Physio Fitness, we make sure to really understand your condition, your lifestyle, and what you’re aiming for.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we create a treatment plan just for you and adjust it as you progress. That way, you’re always getting the care you need, when you need it.
We also focus on showing you exercises and techniques that you can use in your everyday life, so you’re not just improving in the center—you’re making lasting changes. We’ll work closely with you to find a plan that actually helps you feel better and stay better long-term.
