"I'VE TRIED MANY THERAPIES BUT THEY DIDN'T WORK"
WHAT MAKES ONI PHYSIO FITNESS DIFFERENT IN HIP PHYSIOTHERAPY?
And it’s not doing more of what you’ve already tried...

Why the “Quick Fix” Doesn’t Work for Hip Pain
If you’ve been dealing with hip pain or stiffness, chances are you’ve already tried some of the usual remedies:
- painkillers
- heat packs
- massage, or
- even avoiding movements that make your hip hurt.
And maybe, for a while, things felt better.
But sooner or later, the pain creeps back — sometimes when you get up from sitting, sometimes during a walk, or maybe when you try to sleep on your side.
That’s because these approaches only manage the symptoms. They don’t address why your hip keeps bothering you.
Many people also believe hip pain is just a sign of “aging” or “wear and tear” — that it’s inevitable. But in reality, hip pain is rarely just about age.
More often, it’s about how your body moves, how your joints are aligned, and how much stress your hips are forced to take on due to weaknesses or imbalances elsewhere.

The Real Root Cause of Hip Problems
Think of your body as a chain — your spine, pelvis, hips, knees, and ankles are all connected. If one part isn’t working properly, another part has to pick up the slack.
Weak core or glute muscles can overload your hip joints with every step.
Stiff lower back or hamstrings can reduce your hip mobility, making everyday movements harder.
Old injuries (even from years ago) can change the way you walk, forcing your hips into unnatural positions.
Poor posture or long hours of sitting can tighten hip flexors and weaken stabilizing muscles, leading to ongoing pain or stiffness.
Unless these root causes are corrected, your hips remain the “victim” of your body’s imbalance — and that’s why the pain keeps coming back.

How ONI Physio Fitness Does It Differently
At ONI Physio Fitness Mont Kiara, we don’t believe in temporary relief. We believe in lasting results through a root-cause approach:
Comprehensive Movement Analysis
We don’t just look at your hip in isolation. We check how your hips, spine, and legs all move together. How do you sit, stand, walk, squat? That’s where the real answers lie.
Targeted Root-Cause Treatment
If your glutes are weak, we strengthen them. If your hip flexors are too tight, we restore mobility. If your posture or gait is misaligned, we retrain it.
Active Rehab, Not Just Passive Relief
Instead of only using massage or machines, we combine hands-on physiotherapy with guided exercises to restore strength, mobility, and stability.
Future-Proofing Your Hips
Once the pain is gone, we continue training your body to move better, so your hips stay strong and resilient — not just today, but for the long run.
What This Means For You
Imagine this:
👉 Sitting through a movie without constant shifting from hip stiffness.
👉 Walking long distances without that dull ache slowing you down.
👉 Bending, squatting, or even dancing with confidence again.
That’s what happens when we stop chasing symptoms and fix the root cause.
With ONI, it’s not just about a pain-free hip. It’s about giving you back the freedom to move, live, and enjoy life fully — without being held back.

FAQ
A physiotherapy session will take around 45 minutes to one hour.
We are not affiliated with any insurance panels. However, we can issue a receipt and provide a letter (if necessary) for insurance claims. Please consult your insurance agent for the materials needed for your claim.
Doctor’s referral is not necessary. Our physiotherapists will assess your condition and recommend the most suitable treatment and rehabilitation plan for you.
In the first session, our physiotherapists will assess your condition to identify the root cause of your problem.
They will then apply manual treatments for pain management.
Depending on your condition, we may also include rehab exercises to strengthen and/or stretch the affected areas.
Consultation is also part of the first session.
Yes! Our treatment goes beyond relieving pain; we also focus on strengthening the affected area. When the weakened part becomes stronger, it helps prevent future injuries.
No, physiotherapy and massage are not the same. While massage may be part of physiotherapy, they serve different purposes.
Physiotherapy involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various conditions and injuries using a range of methods, such as manual release, exercise therapy, and other modalities.
In contrast, massage primarily promotes relaxation and relieves muscle tension but does not address medical conditions or injuries.
Therefore, physiotherapy is a better option for comprehensive pain and injury treatment.
At ONI Physio Fitness, we make sure to really understand your condition, your lifestyle, and what you’re aiming for.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we create a treatment plan just for you and adjust it as you progress. That way, you’re always getting the care you need, when you need it.
We also focus on showing you exercises and techniques that you can use in your everyday life, so you’re not just improving in the center—you’re making lasting changes. We’ll work closely with you to find a plan that actually helps you feel better and stay better long-term.
