We’ll explain everything in the simplest way, so you understand what’s going on with your body and HOW TO MANAGE it, even when you’re at home.
WHAT NECK CONDITIONS DO WE TREAT?

Neck pain when turning or tilting your head
Ever tried looking over your shoulder while driving or tilting your head down to check your phone, only to feel a sharp or nagging pain?
This kind of neck pain is often due to muscle strain, joint stiffness, or poor posture, making simple daily movements uncomfortable.

Herniated disc (neck area)
If you’ve ever felt deep neck pain that just won’t go away and maybe even shoots down your arm, a herniated disc could be the culprit.
This happens when the cushioning between your neck bones slips out of place and presses on a nerve, causing pain, weakness, or tingling sensations.

Radiating arm numbness and/or pain
Do you sometimes wake up with a numb or tingling arm, or feel a sharp, shooting pain from your neck down to your fingers?
This could be a sign that a nerve in your neck is being pinched, often due to poor posture, a slipped disc, or even long hours of using your phone or computer.

Tension headache caused by neck tightness
Ever feel like there’s a tight band around your head after a long day at work?
That could be a tension headache, often triggered by stiff neck muscles from bad posture, stress, or spending too much time hunched over your screen.

Neck stiffness
If your neck feels stiff and heavy, like it just doesn’t want to move freely, it’s probably from sleeping in a bad position, sitting too long, or working at a desk all day.
This stiffness can make everyday activities—like turning your head to talk to someone or checking your blind spot while driving—a struggle.

Whiplash
Got rear-ended in a car accident and now your neck feels sore and stiff?
That’s likely whiplash, a common injury caused by sudden, forceful movement of the head, leading to muscle strain, headaches, and even dizziness.

Neck injury
Whether you strained your neck lifting something heavy, had a fall, or overdid it at the gym, neck injuries can make it painful to move and even disrupt your sleep. Ignoring it can lead to long-term stiffness and discomfort.

Other neck conditions...
Neck pain isn’t just one-size-fits-all. It can also be caused by arthritis, wear and tear from aging, or even long-term bad posture.
If your neck pain keeps coming back or is affecting your daily life, it’s worth getting it checked out.

Have you ever wondered why neck pain keeps coming back even after trying different treatments?
It’s often because many people overlook the importance of exercise therapy.
At ONI Physio Fitness, our exercise therapy restores your body’s functionality by teaching proper muscle engagement and movement.
By enhancing strength, endurance, and mobility in the affected areas, your body can move without compensating, helping to prevent pain from recurring!
You might have questions about your neck pain. No worries—consult our experienced physiotherapists to gain a better understanding of your condition and determine the most suitable treatment plan.
OUR TREATMENT
A technique that targets tightness in the fascia (the connective tissue around muscles) to relieve pain and improve mobility.
Utilizes specialized tools to break down scar tissue and adhesions, enhancing tissue mobility and function.
Applies heat or cold therapy to the affected area to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and promote healing.
Uses suction cups to create a vacuum effect on the skin, which helps increase blood flow and reduce muscle tension.
Involves inserting fine needles into trigger points in muscles to alleviate pain and improve function.
Kinesio tape is a thin, elastic therapeutic tape that is used to reduce pain, provide support and stability of muscles and joints without restricting movement and prevent injury.
Corrective exercise corrects muscle imbalance and improves movement pattern to reduce compensation of muscle movement, reduce pain, and prevent injury.

Just Flyin2024-09-02Bryan is one of the best physiotherapists I've seen. He puts detailed attention into his work and has consideration for any issue or worry that could have come up. His explanations and demonstrations are clear and simple to follow. Brian has become the only physiotherapist I will see here in Malaysia. Thank you Bryan!

nathan gaillard2024-08-20Very satisfied with the service they give. I consulted this Physio center for various muscular pains and they were very efficient in diagnostic and identifying the root cause of my pains. Thanks to my physio Bryan Ng (which I recommend), I had very serious treatments while working to reinforce my muscles through different exercises on good quality gym equipments and physio tools such as dry needling and heat treatment for localised pain. Overall I was happy with the way Bryan supported me throughout my 10 sessions and the follow up he gave me with various gym routines easy to do at home.
Chong Terri2024-08-17Four months ago i experienced terrible sciatica pain on my left leg running from my buttocks to the back of my knee. The pain was a torture especially during the night. I could hardly sleep because each time I turned my body it hurts terribly . Even sitting and bending my body was a chore. Thank God, my daughter recommended me to ONI . I called up for an appointment and physiotherapist Bryan Ng was assigned to attend to me. This was the first time in my life seeing a physiotherapist and i didnt know what to expect. I only wanted someone to help me to make the pain go away. On my first session with Bryan, I talked to him about my problem and I found him attentive and caring . He did some spot massaging to find out where the problematic spots were and then did some light workout with me in the gym. I found some relief after the one hour session. I then signed up for 10 sessions with Bryan. After the 5th session, I can turn around on my bed during bedtime without much pain. With two sessions per week and subseqent one session per week, i could feel that the pain was getting less and less and on some days, pain free. After the entire course was over, with Bryan's advice, I continue to do the exercises everyday at my home. Though not totally pain free every day, at least I could feel my legs, waist, thighs, hips and buttocks are stronger now. Thank you very much Bryan Ng for your valued care during my entire course with you. You are amazing! I would strongly recommend you to check out ONI if you experience any body pain that is interrupting your daily life.

TiM W2024-08-07The physiotherapists are friendly and the environment is encouraging even to someone who has never gone to the gym before. I will definitely recommend Bryan Ng. He's patient and yet firm on his guidance. He is also patient to answering questions and showing how to watch your techniques when exercising. Great place : )
FAQ
A physiotherapy session will take around 45 minutes to one hour.
Unfortunately, we need to assess your condition first before proceeding with the therapy.
That’s why a physiotherapy assessment and treatment are necessary.
We are not affiliated with any insurance panels. However, we can issue a receipt and provide a letter (if necessary) for insurance claims. Please consult your insurance agent for the materials needed for your claim.
In the first session, our physiotherapists will assess your condition to identify the root cause of your problem.
They will then apply manual treatments for pain management.
Depending on your condition, we may also include rehab exercises to strengthen and/or stretch the affected areas.
Consultation is also part of the first session.

Yes! Our treatment goes beyond relieving pain; we also focus on strengthening the affected area. When the weakened part becomes stronger, it helps prevent future injuries.
No, physiotherapy and massage are not the same. While massage may be part of physiotherapy, they serve different purposes.
Physiotherapy involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating various conditions and injuries using a range of methods, such as manual release, exercise therapy, and other modalities.
In contrast, massage primarily promotes relaxation and relieves muscle tension but does not address medical conditions or injuries.
Therefore, physiotherapy is a better option for comprehensive pain and injury treatment.
At our center, we make sure to really understand your condition, your lifestyle, and what you’re aiming for. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we create a treatment plan just for you and adjust it as you progress. That way, you’re always getting the care you need, when you need it.
We also focus on showing you exercises and techniques that you can use in your everyday life, so you’re not just improving in the center—you’re making lasting changes. We’ll work closely with you to find a plan that actually helps you feel better and stay better long-term.
